Can someone please come and padlock my fridge and cupboard!!

All through this pregnancy I have struggled to have any interest in food whatsoever. If I do get any excitement at the thought of eating something, the second I either look at it or take the first bite I'm over it. Until Monday . . .

I want to eat everything. I seriously could eat a horse and still chase its rider!! Where has this hunger come from? Its been good in that bubs is growing really well but I've been losing weight - I have plenty to spare so no health issues. If I keep going this way I'm going to put on 10kgs in the last three weeks!!

Has anyone else had this sudden and enormous desire to eat so late? Is it normal?

    Go with it

That was me at 15 - 20 weeks with DD2's pg!!!! I was starving all the time! You know what I think it is? Your body making up for the lack of food prior. Because prior to 15wks for me, I could barely eat much and was sick most days!

Enjoy it just try to fill up on healthy stuff. I loved eating two whole meal bread rolls with salad on it for lunch each day mmmm

Ummm yep, I'm on my way. The time I'll be there will depend on what state I'm driving to

I would do this exact same thing for a few days and then I would pop out. I could easily out eat DH. The last month I was eating anything I could get my hands on. Our grocery bill was out of control, LOL!!!
Go with it hun - eat anything and everything you want

I should NEVER have bought a fresh, crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside loaf of bread fresh from the oven at Brumby's this morning!!!

I've had a few starving spells with this pregnancy so far - like you I have also been losing weight so maybe I'll get the same thing right at the end

I have had moment when DF has served up dinner and I've claimed his plate instead of my own when he hasn't quickly taken the hint that they weren't even enough lol - some days I can barely finish a normal serve of dinner and the next night I'll eat mine and claim the good bit left on DFs plate too lol.

The worst thing is when I am hungry like that, all I want is sugar! I try to pick the healthy option first but would very quickly polish off a bag of chocolate bars giving half the chance. Heartburn is helping me take the healthier option now though because sugar makes it so much worse!!

OMG LuluHB... you made me laugh.

I am the same in the last tri... I thought my stomach was supposed to be so squished that you could only eat small amounts... well I can eat twice as much as I used to for dinner so whats up with that!???? didn't eat much first tri, was too sick, second tri a litte more but these last two weeks... watch out!!!!

Ash - I was wanting the sugar too and unfortunately with my DDs' birthdays there has been a LOT of cake in this house. The heartburn that follows really made me suffer for it afterwards though.

I'm back to "normal" this week. All I've had today is half a piece of toast and a cheese scone and I've got that horrible, overfull feeling. Will be interesting to see what the scales say on Thursday when I have my next appt.
