    Sick of people saying...

Sick of people telling me i dont look big enough to be 29 weeks.
I think ive ballooned but EVERYONE i see or talk to tells me i dont look 29 weeks. Ive put on 6 kilo....Is that not much for 29 weeks??

My partner is very small, only 55 kilo, as hes bred to be a jockey, could it just be a smaller bump cause he is smaller?

Its getting me worried that the doc was wrong with the estimate of how far along i am...maybe im only like 20 weeks and she buggered up in telling me...???

Dont listen to them what would they know - last time I checked there was no uniform size of a 29 week belly. I used to get the same thing. Dont worry soon enough they will be asking havent you had that baby yet - you look huge lol.

Great EDD too - thats my birthday

Hi there. I've never been pregnant. But one of my SIL has 4 kids and she never really had a bump, she didnt get very big at all! i wouldn't worry too much i just think those people are being rude! not every woman is going to have a huge bump!

This you have to get used to.

In the same day I've had one person tell me how tiny I was, the next told me it looked like I was having TWINS. Der

Me too I think sometimes people comment just for the sake of commenting!
If all your checks with the doc/midwife/scans have been fine I wouldn't worry.

I think too when people say you look small they're just trying to be nice in telling you that you don't look like an enormous whale! I would try to take it as a compliment!
But it's true - pregnancy is like having an idiot magnet on your head - so many people feel compelled to say something stupid to your face and think nothing more of it.
    Pff.
It could well be if you are indeed measuring small that it is genetic - small father could indeed be the reason for a small baby - but that's no indication that there's any problem.
I'd be more worried if your husband or partner was a giant... hello, where's my pain relief.

I get conflicting comments all day...
"you sure there's only one in there?" is followed by "gee you're so tiny!" is followed by "still 9 weeks to go? Are you joking?" is followed by "you're very petite".

Sooo many things can influence the size of your bump -
The tightness of your tummy muscles, whether your uterus tilts forward or sits deep within your abdominal cavity, how much amniotic fluid you have, the list goes on.
Don't worry sweetie, you will be a perfect 29 weeks size for you.

Hi first time mummy. I was also repeatedly told the same thing. In fact when I was 12 days overdue, people didn't believe that I was about to have the baby.

My midwife even told me that based on my measurements, I was going to have a small baby and he came out at 4kg. I wouldn't worry too much about what people are saying. Hopefully if you don't get too big it will be easier to lose the weight later?

You should be fine if you rely on the ultrasounds etc.

I was told this too - and I gained 14kg!! 2 days before my sisters due date we were shopping and a lady asked her when she was due, she told her anytime and the lady told her she must be wrong cos she was too small and hadn't dropped yet. A few hours later she went into labour. Soo wanted to go back and tell the shop lady

Everybody's bump is different just as our body's pre and post baby are.

don't worried about it ppl come in all shapes and sizes and so do babies also ppl show differently. A friend of mine is about to have her 5th baby, she is 37weeks now and an average size belly and you couldn't even really see she was preg until about 31weeks! and then she just popped so that might happen with you and if not who cares!!

I would jut say "well I am 29weeks preg and THIS IS WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE!!"

You and your baby are just the right size and yea it is definitely possible your bubs is small after all he/she does have u and ur partners dna
