    Question Clicking sound?

    Hey all!

I have a random question... sometimes when bub is moving heaps I hear a clicking sound in my belly - sort of fluidy (if that makes sense?!) - does anyone know what this could be? Or has anyone else had this?

    TIA!

I use to get this and it freaked me out the first few times...
its normal, although nobody could tell me exactly what it was...
a few suggestions that i was given were
    joints clicking
bubs actualy kicking something in you that makes the sound
    ligaments moving
as they are moving the sac moves too and if it folds over no fluid is in there, then with another movement it quickly fills again...
these are all pretty random explainations, but rest assured its normal (or it was in me )

I had this too. Use to freak me out big time and sometimes it was really loud and dp would hear it. Nobody could tell me exactly what it was either but my bubs is very healthy so im sure it was nothing to worry about. Good luck with rest of pregnancy,

i just had a look on the net. they say their isnt really and explanation for it... mmm.. alot of people seem to think its bubs joints from when they move. guess its something wwe have to put up with for a few more weeks. Mayb our bubs are double jointed or something? lol just a thought

I've been getting clicking sounds too! I've just assumed it was baby's joints because I read that somewhere. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

    hi

I got it with all of mine, not one medical person ever gave me an answer.
I have 5 healthy kids anyway, so perhaps its just normal for some people.

I heard this last night! It surprised me, but it was loud and undeniable and happened when the baby moved.

Do you think it's clicking, or do you think it's a bit like a bubbling sound, because I was thinking it could have been the amniotic fluid slooshing around when the baby moved. At this stage in pregnancy there's less amniotic fluid, so maybe when the baby moves the fluid flows to a new pocket in the uterus and this makes a sort of bubbly popping sound.

    Does that make any sense?

Is there any air inside the uterus? Could there be actual bubbles in there? Maybe baby farted.

WOW i remember this topic... Everyone thought i was some kinds of looney. HAHA..

Dont think it has to do with bubs joints as my bbs didnt end up with any issues and i was always clicking...

My GP said it could be the pelvis expandind.. even though it didnt feel like it was actually me clicking. (like when your wrists or ankles click)

Thats why i lobe BB always someone who knows what ur going through or even there to listen...

I had this too when I was pregnant with my son. I put it down to fluid or ligaments, but after he was born, his shoulder joints would click all the time, my doc said it's just his ligaments moving and growing, amazing hey.

Spoke to my midwife today and she suggested it was bub sucking it's thumb! I think thats the best explaination I've had so far

That's definitely the cutest explanation I've heard.
