    Cloudy runny discharge?????? TMI WARNING!!!!!

Sorry in advance for what I'm about to discribe.

Over the last week or so I have been leaking alot of milky/cloudy runny discharge. When I go to the loo it drips out and I have been having alot of wet undies too.

Do you think it is just runny discharge? I have been having alot of stringy white/clear discharge too that I find in my undies as well, I'm pretty sure this is part of my MP. I had a lump of it tinged with blood (about the size of half a golf ball) last sunday.

Anyway I know it's not my waters as I know what that looks like after them bursting with DD.

I'm a little worried it might be a sign of infection though, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Mel
If it is itchy, burning, smelly, or in anyway uncomfortable get it checked out. It is very common th have an increase in your discharge late in pregnancy. The golf ball thing does sound like your MP

Thanks ladies and Alan, I have a MW appointment tomorrow so I shall ask then.

Alan, I have no pain, itchyness, bad smell or anything apart from the norm coming from down there. It's just really runny cloudy discharge, consistancy of milk I'd say, it just drips out when I'm on the loo (sorry). I have tested positive to the strep B test, do you think that could have anything to do with it? Do you think I'm right to wait until to tomorrow to ask about it?

Thanks again everyone, I know I have been annoying lately.

Hi, I agree with Alan. I did have an huge increase in discharge the week before Jude was born. It did increase and I had to change undies too. It's good u have an appointment tomorrow. I hope it all goes well. Not long to go now.
As for the + strep test, I was positive too and because of quick birth they gave Jude antibiotics after birth. Let us know how you go.

Hey Ollie, great to hear from you. Hope all is well with your little guy.
I did remember you had some wetness too, did they end up telling you what it was?
Did your discharge sound similiar to mine?

Hi, they first total me it was discharge but I think is was a part of my waters as it was leaking. I know they did one of those swabs that gives you a 90% result if it's positive you will go into labour within a week. Well mine was negative and Jude was born 24hrs later.????

I think it will be safe to wait untill tomorrow.

    Ollie
The test you had was called foetal fibronectin. If it is positive it means that you will probably give birth within 10 days. If it is negative it does not mean anything. You could give birth the next day. We are only interested in a positive result

I tested positive to the Fetal Fibronectin test at 32 weeks when I went into early labour. I know it's good thing that I had fallen into the 10% that didn't go into labour, but hoping anytime now that I do I think Alan I might be the first person that you know of to make it to full term after testing positive, I remember you saying you knew of 1 person who made it to 37 weeks after testing positive, I know this is considered full-term but I'm nearly 38 now and still going strong, not bad hey!!!

Yes Mel you are going well. I also remember telling you about the woman who made it to 37 weeks.

Hey I just had a thought!!!
Why not go 2 weeks past your due date. then you could be the only woman who tested positive for foetal fibronectin and went past her due date. Now wouldnt that be something to aim for

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO Don't say that.
I don't want to defeat the odds that much, please NO NO NO.
I'd be happy with making it 2 weeks before. Although I'll tell you I have had a feeling about now going 10days over, since the early labour was stopped.
