Lis- I'm not going to say 'this isn't it' to you just in case i get proven wrong. Very excited for you though! Sounds promising!

Alib- It's great that you have such a relaxing time to start mentally welcoming your bub. Some ladies are so hectic right up until labour that when bubs comes it is a very big suprise and they find they havn't mentally siked themsleves up for it and have trouble when coming home. The fact that you are really thinking and expecting bub to be here means you will be much more ready to welcome him into your arms. Just remind yourself that after all your TTC, your little man is almost here and it was all worth it!

Belly rubs for all the ladies!!

hahaha same hear my man keeps saying oh god i cant wait for the two weeks that im having off ,and i am like do u understand how hectic it is going to be so full on!! its not going to be a holiday ,u will be bringing home a tired sore mummy abd a crying scared new born lol

Ali you are doing so well, dont feel bad for feeling the way u do, like jelly said , this is great that u have this time tp prepare and think about things to come , a lot of women dont get that..even me iv always wanted a bub always knew i would have one, but it only hit me a few weeks ago that this was real i was having one and my emotions went around the bend , i was a mess , and i had a lot of time to think about it all and what it means to me and prepare myself for thios huge change, even though yes it is a very welcomed change it still is a massive change that will change our lives forever .i needed that meltdown lol and now i am so ready and so cant wait to meet my little girl.
I am glad u have had this time for yourself .

Lis i hope things are still coming along for you.. dont feel bad about wanting some time out i dont know how anyone does it with a toddler ,it would be crazy hard.. so take that time out in hossy just for u and the bub

Lis - I definitely know what you mean about patience levels with the toddler!!! It is like patience just went out of the window!!!!

I hope that your pains actually do come to something for you!

Ali - Glad you had that amazing experience in preparing for bubs. No matter what anyone told me when pregnant the first time, it was impossible to prepare for bubs really! Even this time, I still feel somewhat confused!

Shel - hope you are getting some rest!

Jelly -hubbys just don't really get it!!! I keep trying to prepare my hubby for having toddler all on his own when I am in hossy. But he has rallied his sister and mother around him to help out...I keep saying that DS needs his Dad when Mum is away. He even texted a mate about the start of the new Austag footy season which starts Tuesday night and said I was being induced Monday but could make the first game on Tuesday...I said who is going to look after DS????? He will be in bed asleep or need to be bathing and being put to bed....His response was - Oh, Mum could come around!!!! Little does he know DS is going to probably be spacking out - because I have only ever not put him to bed once in his life when we went to a wedding and I was home by 10pm for when he woke in the night!! Ah, hubby you just don't get it!!!

DS is at childcare so I am off to watch a DVD - probably last day ever (well for a few years) that I will have to myself!!!

Hi ladies how you all doing?

I am still here and going on strike......kiss of death was phoning the hospital....seriously what was I thinking Midwife said it all sounded promising and that this one may not need inducing.....but hey what do they know................Im just gutted cos I really thought yesterday was the day, I havent had the full on contractions for hours on end before, but they never turned into anything regular and then fizzled out.

Fingers crossed M2W and Ali B you have 48hours to get moving - time to scrub some floors

Something I want to mention I had a 2nd degree tear with dd and its starting to itch, like its getting ready but hey just another sign of nothing ggggrrrrrr

Shell we are nearly there....at least that is something

    Hi girls!!!

Well, thought it might have been it last night...early evening had a lot of downward pressure and period pain. At 7pm contractions started and were every 7-10mins until 8.45pm. Then I said to hubby - I think bubs just backed up the truck!!! She moved - saw the bump go upwards and pressure relieved in pelvis. Then not another contraction!

She really doesn't like the smallest contractions! Can't believe it...and now it think she has disengaged again! Fingers crossed she doesn't turn prosterior now!

Looks like 5pm Sunday night will be my first trip to hossy! One more night at home for me...

So cleaned the house this morning...will restock the fridge again this afternoon and do my ironing for the suitcase again!!

Sorry to hear your contractions fizzled too Lis! So frustrating, isn't it!

    Labour vibes to all!
