    Decreased movement?

Okay so I know it's getting tight in there but should baby still be having 10 movements a day? Yesterday and today she is nowhere as active as she was. I'm thinking maybe she's just going through a non active phase. I dunno. It's normal though right?

Yep, pretty sure you should still be able to feel 10. They will be more elbows and knees pushing out though rather than kicks.
As you said, it's very normal for them to slow down when there's not a lot of room in there but if you think something isn't right it's always best to get it checked out.

It's hard to know what normal is, I new what my normal amount of movements were for me but that may not be the same for you. She did have her quiet days and movements would change as the pregnancy progressed. But if you're worried hun it wouldn't hurt to get checked out, if only to put your mind at ease.

There should always be at least 10 movements a day. If you're concerned, get checked out. Do you use a kick counter of any kind?

I remember DD slowed right down for a few days then became very active. her favourite thing to do was stick her bum right out so my belly was a odd shape.

I always poked and prodded her. But there was the 8 hours that she didnt move at all that i completely freaked but she must have been asleep lol

I was talking to an Ob and a lot of the time they don't suggest trying to count the 10 movements a day now (at least she didn't). Quite often the baby will move HUNDREDS of times a day but the mum will only feel a handful. She was advised not to suggest movement count because it was causing more stress then good.

Saying that though, if you are really worried I am sure the midwives at the maternity ward wouldn't mind you easing your worries hun!

If in doubt, get checked out.

They may say to sit down and drink the coldest drink you can get and see if that gets bub moving.

A - if you are worried, then I think you should go get it checked out or at least make a phonecall. At 33 weeks pregnant, it's not like you are going to be the girl who cried wolf, any concern is a valid concern to be checked out. Xx

It sounds weird, but are you able to feel them from the outside? Somehow, this past week I've not felt much from the inside, but I can feel little rolls and kicks when I have my hand on my tummy

That said, if you're not feeling much you should at least give someone professional a call, see what they say Good luck with it!

I dont get many kicks as such bub pleanty of rolls and legs and arms poking out of places... saying that bub is going nuts right now and has pretty much all day but he / she does have quiet periods.
I read today (while waitiing at the hossy!!) that bub will have 40 min cycles of sleep and play now in the womb - getting in a rythem for the outside world.

But as I know its much better to get checked out! And even though it will be nothing they will be glad you called or came in - trust me I know!

If you're concerned hun, go get checked. Try the cold, sweet drink trick...or lie down flat. I used to lie flat on my back and feel things a lot more. Don't want to scare you but DDs movements decreased in the week leading up to her early arrival....but I just put it down to being too early to feel a lot consistently.

    Good luck hun.

Thanks everyone Im finally on my computer

Last night I was lying on my side and she wasnt even moving (that I could feel) so i had some ice and she moved a little. Today during the day she didnt move much (I was working anyway) but when I stopped she was nudging me so I knew everything was alright. She must have been having a lazy day (kinda like her mother lol)

I so hate even thinking of calling the hospital but I know I have to and I should but I dont want to waste their time Who knew the last trimester made you so anxious :/
