I got none at all on my belly but my bum and thighs look like a zebra and my boobs went from a 12C to a 14E so they are covered to.
I mainly used moisturiser to stop the itching that you get, I dont believe like alot of people that it will stop them but it may reduce them just the littleist bit.
Because they are scar tissue they will start off red and turn a whitish silver colour once they are healed. Try bio-oil or pure vitamin e oil and the sun will also help fade them (obvisouly not with the oils on, sunblock off course)
i got them - and they looked like tiger stripes, but pink. they've faded now - but no doubt they'll go pink again with this bubba. they fade, and some one told me (i could be wrong) but they fade more so once you finish bfing(?) but i wear them with pride every cloud has a sliver lining and this is mine!
I got them the most around my belly button and in my tattoo (which is just below my belly button) it was a tattoo of a cross but now it's just 'across' my stomach ..oh well it only cost me $50 when I was 24 Hubby reckons it looks better than it ever has lol
Second time around I have more around my belly button and tattoo, and a couple on me boobies. I have been using Dove moisturising cream as I did with my first pregnancy and drinking 2.5 litres of water a day. I don't think the moisturiser will stop the stretch marks it just stops the itching. I have heard it is in your genetics, if your mum had em -chances are you will. My mum didn't really get many, maybe thats why I haven't really.
But..I am only 27 weeks there is plenty of time for me to turn into a zebra!
