That's good she's been anterior at your appointments! Both my DD's kept moving around all the time right up until labour, mostly anterior but sometimes posterior. I just made sure I kept up the good posture and got on my hands and knees a few times a day and they sorted themselves out when labour started

Well, I can tell you with my little 'persistent breech' baby... all my movements are up high. So I'm not convinced that where you feel most movement is necessarily a good indicator of position

The movements are different, such as definite kicks to the cervix (ouch!) but most of the movements are up the top.. being the head and hands.

Oh Liz, I remember those cervix kicks - ouch! I'm thinking now that he was referring more to the 'big' part more than anything, making sure that what he was feeling at the top was a bum and not a head. Because like you I do feel quite a bit where her head and hands are

I feel little movements down low all the time, but always to one side or the other.. aswell as those 'big' bounces on my cervix with the head. . The 'big' movements at the top are like big forceful pushes mostly which I figure are legs. I have gotten pointy movements up and down my sides too which I always assumed were elbows. None of my bubs have ever been breech or posterior at any appointments once it mattered.

So, no. You don't need all your movements to be at the top, you just don't really want to feel what you think are hands poking your ribs.
