My pain is mostly on the right not both sides. If I had it on both sides I would be crying like a banshee... you have my sympathies.

My Dr incidently said that from 36 wks onwards you should be resting as much as possible. I found that if I go out one day I have to rest the next and sometimes the day after. Maybe give this a go?

yep! i was told it is ligaments stretching to accomodate the weight of the baby when walking.

It is the pregnancy hormones that's making everything stretch just as Hollye has said. I've found that especially if I've been at the computer the pains especially near the groin hurt and I really do a weird walk for a while until baby shifts a bit. Yesterday though the pain was impressively persistent all day long. Like I said my Dr said rest, meaning laying on the side but if you're still working you probably can't do this. I hope you're about to finish work so you can rest up a bit before your due date.

yep i used to get it all the time from about 18 weeks when i was pg with my twins. It would only stop if i stopped for a bit. I only had to walk 100 metres and had to sit for 10 mins till it subsided and i could walk some more- very frustrating!!!

Ah the fun of being pg!

    i get this... A LOT!!!

with GD i'm supposed to do a 1/2 hr walk each day... i've now broken it into two 15min walks because it just gets so bloody painful!!

The looks my dog gives me while I'm grunting and moaning while I'm waddling away are absolutely priceless though!!!
