Hi Bree, I think you need to go and have a big massage! Anxiety and stress only produces adrenaline which counteracts the labour hormone, oxytocin.
Nipple stimulation will help produce oxytocin, as will orgasm, so keep on with those.
But above all, trust that your body will labour - it has to - and relax as best you can. Often a massage will set off labour - I know three people who had massages with our expert, Tracey Habron, and were in labour within 48 hours. Go for a walk, enjoy these last few moments and know your baby will be here soon. Anxiety will slow things down, relaxation will speed it up.
All the prelabour you are having is great. Its helping that cervix dilate, not too painfully which is nice! Embrace the calm work your body is doing... it's building up to longer, and stronger labour...
