Thanks Bec. I've been having pre labour for WEEKS, but contractions got regular on Thursday, and then went, and now they're irregular. It's just teasing me........

The induction is my decision, not the OBs. I had to weigh up the option of either waiting to go naturally and possibly not having DH there (and definitely not for the weeks after birth), or having the induction and definitely having DH for the birth and at least a week afterwards. Then again, I could wait and wait and end up having to have the induction anyway, and no DH for ANYTHING.

We don't have a lot of support in the way of friends and family here who can help out with DD (and me afterwards), so this ended up being the 'best' option for us all to make sure that DH is around.
