I suffer food poisoning at the slightest dodgy thing. I have been hospitalised many times with it.
Last time was when I was about 34 weeks pregnant. I had a dodgy kebab, and spewed up for about 8 hours. There was nothing left in my stomach to spew. I was trying to drink water to rehydrate, and would just spew up water.
So off to the hospital I went. They checked the baby, and said it's all fine... and put me on a saline drip. I was finally able to have a rest as I hadn't 'swallowed' the water.
But then the drip was empty and I sat up - and puked the entire drip up again!!
So I had to have another drip! This time they put maxalon in it too - which is anti-nausea medication.
I had gone to hospital around midnight - and was still there at 9am. My husband had stayed with me the whole time, bless him. I was so ready to go home... But they had to ensure I wasn't going to throw up again. So they gave me a glass of juice and some crackers and they stayed down.
If you have runs & bit of vomiting... drink as many fluids as you possibly can. If you can't keep fluids down - then go to the hospital. But by the sounds of it - you have an upset tummy - and your baby will be totally fine!
