Oh wow... guys i'm so sorry for not getting back on here sooner. I am crying i didn't realise i had so much support. That just means the world to me. I have been really exhausted from the pain and sleeping mostly. Last night i had this sudden bout of energy for the first time in days and mowed the lawn. Aside from that i have pretty much spent the weekend in bed or on the couch, i didn't even check my emails or go on FB which is very strange for me.

Bubs and I are doing fine. My contractions come and go. I have decided it's not a bad thing to ring the midwives when i'm scared. I went and got monitored and bubs is fine and I am contracting but not in labour. I am starting to think it is just prelabour as it's more painful than braxton hicks but my cervix is still closed. It's still happening on and off throughout each day but i am trying hard to keep monitoring myself and timing them when i start to get a few in an hour. So far they are just irregular but very painful. I think she has moved down a lot though cos it really hurts to sit forward now, and sorry to be gross but i am having to empty my bowels about 4 times a day, i was lucky if i used to go once every day.

I will definantly keep you guys posted. I am just hoping she hangs out at least another 2-3 weeks if not the remaining 6 which would be even better. (somehow i just don't think that will happen though)

Hang in there, its tough, I was in a similar situation for two weeks and that was bad enough. I was on medication and bed/couch bound to stop the contractions before my body decided it was well and truly time.

    Hi SleepyNolan,

I am doing great now. As long as I don't move around too much i don't get as sore. I have had to stop driving and walking now, but aside from that everything is going well. We are feeling pretty confident now she will stay put for at least antoher couple of weeks.

How are you doing? I just noticed you are a few weeks ahead of me. I love the name you have chosen.
