hard to explain. It's as if I'm being poked or scratched in the cervix occasionally. Well, in that general area. It doesn't feel bad, really, just kind of weird, and I don't think the baby has engaged yet as he still seems quite high. In any case, isn't a bit too early for him to be getting down that low? Has anyone else had this experience? Anything to worry about?
I used to feel what felt like fingers scratching my cervix. It was just bubs moving around and yes, they have nails and all so it could very well have been. By this stage bubs has long arms and can reach that area if not fully engaged so it's possible you are feeling bub rubbing etc near the cervix/birth canal...
I also feel little fingers down there like a tingling sensation, bubs is head down. I went for my 31week appointment today and the MW checked bubs position and realized he has not engaged yet. She went on to say that he is pretty high up and should be engaging soon? She also changed my 20th of March due date, to the 11th March. So that now makes me 32weeks and 2days. But from reading on BB i think bubs can engage anytime up until we are due?
I had this too, but mine was more like a stabbing pain OUCH!! But when bubs engages, there no room for them to do... well, pretty much anything then!!

And Simone, i was reading trish's post - you stand your ground girl!! and only your ob can change your dates... bubs growth goes up and down, but it all averages out in the end... You're strong (and you have trish behind you) fight for what you want!!
Yes i have had that feeling to. I think its just bubba trying to annoy us. I have had it going on for a while. I have a drs app this week so i will ask and let you know what he says.
Oh and i have had it since i was 29 weeks.......
