    Thinking of you Georgi

FWIW, Zander's godmother had the same thing happen in January. Bub stayed put for another week before contractions started. He was in NICU for a week then SCN for four weeks before going home a healthy little man.

Hi all, Georgi's DH is bringing a laptop into the hospital for her tomorrow so she can keep everyone informed with how everything is going.

Georgi just text me now and said.... "statistically I should go into labour within 5-7 days but i just wanna wait til next tues at least..... i'll be 32wks then. Bub will transfer back to Pindara Hospital @ 34wks....." (Pindara don't take babies less than 34wks hence why she is in brisbane)

With her laptop i'm sure she'll be able to touch base and let us know how she's going if she's feeling up to it..... at the moment she said she has accepted her baby will be here early and she's feeling okay considering....

You're a strong woman Georgi, keep it up

I Hope everything goes well for you... I had a bleed with Alexa @ 30wks & she didnt grow for the next 2 weeks, so she was born @ 32+4 weeks... We also had steroid injections....

She is now a 2 1/2 year old & has the best set of lungs I have ever heard!!!!

I hope that the time in NICU is not too long... (Wef were in or 6 1/2 weeks, had feeding issues which kept us in a bit longer.... lazy lil tart liked the NGT feeds cause they were easier for her LOL)

My Advise to you though is ... Take as many pics of your wee premie as you soon forget how little they were (I wish I had of taken more photos!!!)... Just keep that camera clicking!!!

    Good luck

Thank you all so much for your kind wishes & prayer. Each & every post has touched me.

Thanks Csab for creating this thread & also Ren for keeping everyone updated.

My waters broke at 4am on Wednesday. I rang the hospital (Pindara) & they told me to come straight in. They put me on the CTG to check bubs HR, which is fine, & see if there were any contractions. There wasn't. The Ob did an internal & a swab & confirmed it was my waters. I was transferred, by ambulance, up here to Brisbane as they specialise in premmie bubs. I had another huge water break at 1am this morning, like a flood, but the med staff aren't concerned as they were clear, & I still have no labour signs at all.

I have been allocated an Obstetrician who has basically said that if I go into labour before Saturday they will stop it, to give time for the steriods to work but if I go after Saturday they'll deliver him. The Ob at Pindara said I'll be lucky to last 2 weeks & definately won't last to 37. DH & I are ok with it all. There is a 95% survival rate after 30weeks & it just means our bub will be two months behind on all his milestones.

I was so so so not ready but know we will cope. We have lots of great support & thankfully my Sydney baby shower was a hit. We had 30 people there & literally got everything we needed. DH even set up the cradle on Tueday.

I will be here in Brisbane until I deliver the baby or I hit 34weeks. Pindara will take us back at 34 weeks where bub will stay till he's strong enough to go home. I will have to go to the hospital every 4 hours to feed him. If I give birth here, then I will find a hotel room close by until they transfer him back to Pindara.

I will keep you all updated as things progress.

And once again, thank you all so much for your support. Please keep it coming
