SNOOPS, I must say I'm very very lucky that I don't have kids yet. It would be so hard. There's a women here from Rockhampton who's been here for 8 weeks & she's got 2 kids. The poor lady

I had a fairly good sleep, yippee. I woke up at 2am to go to the toilet so I rang the midwife & asked her to do my Obs seeming I was awake anyway. She said she was gonna come in at 3am so it's lucky I buzzed her. It did take me a while to back to sleep, but that's nothing new, then I woke up at 7am. Yay....

DH is coming to visit today then I'm meeting Jane for our daily sunshine.

32 + 6 today. Wow, haven't I come a long way. I'm so happy to be 33 weeks tomorrow. And tomorrow is Day 14. Woohoo.

    Please hang on little one.....

You're doing a great job Georgi - 33 weeks tonorrow :woot:, looks like you are going to really prove them wrong!!

Glad to hear you are getting out of your room, I spent 11 days in (6 as a border with Nakita) but omg it is very bizarre going outside for the first time, the most I went outside for the first 7 days was leaving WCH, getting in to the transfer vehicle - which was waiting at the front doors, then when we got to NECH out of the vehicle and staight in the front doors!!!

When I went home on day 7 to pick up my car and some things it was a very bizarre feeling!!

Try to keep some of the "normality" going!!

    Keep strong xxoo

TANSTAR You're not wrong, this wireless is awsome!

NADINE, ANTHEIA, DIANNA, KURAIZA Thanks so much for your encouragement

BEEMA Yeah I was bizzare going outside after 10days. It's seemed a bit surreal. I've made the pact to go outside everyday for at least am hour. It keeps it real.

SNOOPS Yep, we are never short on conversation thats for sure.

DH came to visit today. I miss him.... He stayed about 2.5hours then had to go to work Once he left I went to collect Jane & we sat outside for 1.5 hours. It was a beautiful day here in Brissy too.

The Ob is going to ring my Pindara Ob, this week, to see if he wants me to go straight to Pindara or to go home & see him in his rooms. I'm looking forward to getting the answer to that one. It just means if I go home I will need to monitor myself by checking my temperature every 4 hours & going straight to the hospital if signs of infection start to show. Though I know my Ob at Pindara is very conservative & may want to be safe rather than sorry. Either way, I'm happy. Plus he also said that I won't need to transfer in an ambulance. I should be able to get DH to pick me up & take me back.

There's a midwife on shift tonight who is really helpful. She knows I wasn't able to do my pre natal classes & has spent some time in my room discussing labour, pain relief etc. She's been very helpful.

I'm off to watch Idol. So glad it's back on. It's so funny!

    Georgi,
You poor thing it must be horrible being away from DH for so long, hopefully they'll let you go home if even if only for a few hours! Give that belly a rub from us and tell your precious bub that he's doing a wonderful job, one week to go tomorrow to 34!

Thanks girls.. Can you believe it. It's been 14 days since my waters broke. Wow, I must say, I'm pretty chuffed with myself. I just hope the lil fella holds on.

I seem to be getting alot of Braxton Hicks & am leaking alot of fluid. I don't know if that means anything, if it's a sign that things are getting started, I'm not sure. I'll have to ask the midwifes today.

I had a fairly decent sleep. I've learnt now that when I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, to call the midwife to do my obs, that way I don't get woken again. That's working much better for me cause I'm awake anyway.

Congratulations on making it to 33 weeks! I hope you get to move back to your hospital soon and that the little guy continues to snuggle in nice and tight for a bit longer.
