Hi there, just wondering if anyone has had this kind of experience.
I had dr appoint. today & bub's head is down & I have been having braxton hicks already, I am only 28 weeks tomorrow.
In fact I had one while he was taking a look at my tum.
He said not to panic that this can sometimes be quite normal but wondering if anyone else has had these things happen so early on?
She better realise it's nicer in there than out here!

Yes, I used to get BH's quite early on, especially in my 2nd pregnancy. I used to get them quite strong with both my pregnancies, and I used to worry I would go into labour early (and I ended up getting induced with my son because he didn't want to come out)! Its completely normal.
Hi DJTTC
As the others have said it is not unusual to get BH early in your pregnancy and it doe not mean that your baby ill arrive early. Try hot to worry hun, you will be fine
Thanks everyone for your replys, I knew that you could get braxton hicks from quite early on but what concerned me was bub being head down already.
I thought that didn't happen till a few weeks before bub was due, anyway I will try not to worry.

Hey Jo
With my DD, (I can't remember when it was exactly) her head was down early on too. Like I said, I can't remember when it was, I just remember thinking the same as you, that it was happening to early.
Can't believe you are down to double digits already! Super exciting
My bub has been head down for a while now, can't remember how early but ob wasn't concerned, and I was having BH at 28 weeks too - it is the first pregnancy in which I have noticed BH and it was quite disconcerting to feel them early on; i even went into hospital early one morning at about 28 weeks to have it checked whether they were real labour! The foetal monitoring showed that they weren't real contractions, which was a wonderful relief, and so I went home and had a good sleep but felt relieved I had them checked.....
They can keep changing positions until well after the 30 week mark - it's quite entertaining guessing which way bubs is lying just before the Drs appointments!
i started having BH at about 20weeks and when i had an ultrasound at 27w bub was already head down, so i think its quiet normal. and as Mary said they can keep changing possy too so may not mean bub is head down for good just yet.
