Bum first (Frank) breech is the best presentation for vag birthing a breech Only thing to be a little concerned about is that with your bub being prem, it's likely her head is a little bigger than her hips so that's probably the only thing that might throw a spanner in. I'm sure the drs will be all over it though - I think it's awesome they'll let you give it a go.
IMO, I don't think it's selfish of you to want to try a vag birth. I understand in as much as I possibly can having not been there myself. I wish you all the best - hoping that little girl stays in for a bit longer!

breech vaginal births need to be hands off.
they are generally longer and take a bit more work but being bubs is small(something that often goes with breech presentations)
hands and knees will be your best position(opens your pelvis up the most)
and remember you can do it!!

I haven't been in your situation I'm afraid so I can't give any personal advice - only make sure you dose up on probiotics (friendly bacteria) now and continue to take them for at least 2 weeks once you are done with the antibiotics.
Reason being the antibiotics are as effective at killing the friendly bacteria in your system (probiotics) as they are at starving off the bad. You need this friendly bacteria for optimum nutrient absorption from your food, and it will enhance yours and the baby's immune system- as well as increase the number of probiotic 'friendly' bacteria present in your breastmilk which helps to prevent colic, relfux etc. Not taking probiotics after antibiotics can also increase your risks of developing yeast conditions such as thrush, candida, UTI's etc.
You can buy probiotic capsules from the fridge of your nearest health food store - needs to be kept in fridge.

I got a nice midwife tonight after being ignored and having to buzz for my medicine to stop contractions coz she was on lunch lol but I just talked to this new one about the fact I'm getting rather stressed coz they make a big deal of telling you risks but not of telling you the good side And about the reason I hate the thought of a csec is coz I know with every little tug I will get stressed and freak coz I can feel something which I know is irrational but it's what I do lol so she's gonna get the anethatist (sp) to talk to me about the pros and cons of the epidural vs general so hopefully that will help put me at ease For knowing my options if there's an emergency does anyone know stats or anything of things going smoothy compared to going wrong...I am in a tertiary hosp she said with theatre only min away but ATM it seems like the bad happens as much as the good
also what are thoughts on having the epidural so if something goes wrong it's already done....I'm so confused
