Car seat

wraps range of thickness muslin is great thin wrap
clothes wise you need singlets and short body suits and a few long ones as may get a few coolnights as weather is weird
swaddle me wraps u can still use and just dress baby in singlet and nappy in it as most newborn babies are still swaddled wrapped.
If bf thats all baby needs or if formula feeding you will needd sterliser, bottles, teats and formula.
nappies depends if u want cloth or disposable. Disposable is trial and error what you like, i personally like huggies or pampers and woolworth brand
Hospital bag you need old tshirt or nightie for labour, clothes and pjs for you after birth, lothes and wraps and maybe nappies for baby depending on hospital, pads big fat ones, lip balm, heat pack, hair ties, massage oil, camera.
i would head to big w if i were you and buy yourself a few litte pink bonds wondersuits in 000 and some litte pink singets in 000, they're always handy with newborns.
The hospital gave us a list of items to take to the hospital, it included things like a couple of hats, pairs of socks/booties, bunny rugs, baby wash and powder etc. If you're not sure have a look at the articles on belly belly, also I borrowed the Choice guide to baby products from the library which I found useful.
with the formular I am going to get the brand called Nan Gold. Midwives have spoken very highly of it you can get the 900g Tin or you can actually order in from your local chemist a pack of 24 Sachets for around $8 - $10 which is what I plan on getting for the just in case. and then I am not spending a fortune on formular just to waste it if all the breast feeding goes well.
Clothing I have a few 0000 but more 000 as my bubs is about average size being around 7 pound born give or take. Best and Lest have little suits for $2 and they have heaps of funky baby clothes!!
Nappies I am using cloth mainly but disposables when I go out. the snugglers or if you have Aldi where you are grab the aldie brand I have heard that they are great and dont leak.
When you pack your bag for hospital. I have a few nighties / PJs , socks, dressing gown, shampoo, soap, nickers ( heaps ) , maternity pads, breast pads, some nice comfy going home clothes, clothes for hubby to wear, bubbies bag has his nappies a couple of going home out fits, blanket, towel, wraps, jump suits, hats / socks / mittens, his bathing stuff like washers, soap, powder, bottom balm, moisturizer. BIRTH PLAN!!! make sure you take that and some mags or books to read while your in there. a normal vaginal birth they keep you in around 2 days so I found out from my midwife the other day.
Shades for the car windows so bubby doesnt get sunburnt or too hot with the sun.
I hope this helps you a little. I have been buying the Mother & Baby mag which had a list in it of what to take. Just research as much as you can, thats what I did.
Dont stress yourself out you make it so much worse than what it is ( ive had to slow down the pace myself )
I would recommend getting nappies, I just bought this week, Huggies brand of nappies for newborns from Target and got a pack of 54 for $13.99, my sister in law said those are pretty cheap, I plan on buying more nappies but bulk buy from the internet (there is a place called Nappyland, and they have some great stuff, quite cheap.
Other things I would suggest is:
Baby Wipes
Formula just in case you can not breastfeed or choose not to
bottles
dummies ( if you choose to use them)
singlets
Nappy bag (to take out with you when bubs is here)
Wraps/blankets
Baby Shampoo, and baby soap etc
baby powder and nappy rash cream
