treat pumpkim as a moderate GI food....It is towards the low end of the moderate range though....and it actually has few carbs in relation to its weight unlike potato. A lot of people get confused with pumpkin cos it looks like potato when cooked etc but it is one of the deceptive foods of which there are many as you are I am sure finding out.

Just want to say double ditto to all abs' comments.....nothing is worse as a diabetic or even as someone with GD having people think it is all your fault. You are dealing with enough crap without the added baggage of a guilt trip. anyways good luck for your test Kell
