hind water leak? at 32 weeks?

This is my 5th pregnancy and i dont know it all! i am 32 and 1/2 weeks ! lol

after getting up from the loo about 1/2 half of clear liquid fell out, i though maybe i hadnt finished weeing but then i told midwife and had to go to hospital and get it checked out. They say its not amnioctic fluid but i am none the wiser to what is was.

has anyone else had a hind water leak early as i think thats what is was and its reseal again because theres been no further liquid.

Hi, the discharge does increase the further you go along in pregnancy, but I know what you are talking about. I was finding that I leak quite a bit after I go to the toilet, not wee or discharge, just a watery substance. I asked my midwife and she says it would just be excess discharge. But I was not sure on her answer as a few days after I had asked her, my plug fell out, and now I have an infection that needs antibiotics.
You cant always beleive what the docs say, but as long as everything is going ok then you should be fine..

the nurse also suggested it might be mucas plug liquid which can be clear and after reading your experience it sounds more likely. thanks for your help i have never notice this before good luck with your pregnancy and birth
