Cool showers here, soaking feet in clam shell pools... Lots and lots and lots of cold water!
Anything heat related bugging you?
I have sweat/heat rash under my boobs so its annoying meeee. Plus my thunder thighs rub unless i wear 3/4 leggings. Which is hard with the bump & pressure down low!
Any one else care to chime in with complaints about this summers heat?
My DD was born in a heat wave in 2012 which meant I was heavily pregnant and then overdue during a stinking summer. I feel for you! It is not nice at all. I promised myself I'd never have a summer pregnancy again yet here I am 28 weeks pregnant! But in Perth this summer had not been as intense as usual, bar a few super hotties.
This was me last year! DH bought me a foot spa for Xmas and it was a life saver! I used it twice a day at least for my fat, hot feet.
You have my sympathy.
I actually think heat and pregnancy is easier than a newborn. I had dd as a tiny baby during the black Saturday heat wave in 2009 and it was so intense. This time I am very pregnant but it's more the kids who struggle. We are seeking air conditioned shopping centers and museums etc. A cool bath at 5pm is soldo refreshing, and lots of tv under the fan!
I was pregnant with DD during black Saturday of 2009. There were rolling power outs - I ran a bath and just kept getting in/out. Went to movies for air con relief, drove around in zircon car. Parked under tree in shade with motor running as it was much cooler than inside.
Dj was a black saturday bub - so i know the newborn heat thing! Nappy and singlet for him
Im just crabby now.
People seem to look down on a preg women wearing tank tops and leggings i.dont care how bad i look i assure those looking i'd feel worse as its soooo hot!
LittleO have you got a fit ball? I've been sitting on one all week under the aircon... Benefits of squatting without the actual exertion lol. May help bub make it's way out?
The pool may help you relax and cool down enough for things to start moving I love going to deep water aqua classes at my local pools... So soothing and helps with the niggling aches & pains.
