DD1 was posterior & i did have back pain with her but i also felt her kicks & punches at the front of my tummy.
You could actually see her feet when she kicked etc...

I was the same...I use to see her foot stick out and I used to tickle it and she used to pull it back...so cute
I also found there was more of a hollow in the middle of my belly instead of a nice firm back.
