Default How Early did you go before your due date?

Just thought i would post a post asking people how early they went into labour before their due date. I am pregnant with number two at 35weeks, I went 1 week early with my daughter and hoping to go early with this one too.

    Hi Ange,

I had Amy 3 weeks and 2 days early. Bit of a shock that's for sure and quite stressful as she was so sleepy and jaundiced. But all is well now and we've just got our first big smiles!! :-)

I had Oscar 1 week (to the day) early. My waters broke on the Wednesday though and I was induced on the Friday as I had not gone into labour.

#4 is due on Sunday (only 6 sleeps away) and no signs of budging

I am have been pretty lucky so far not to have to wait over edd....I am wondering if this one will make me wait as pay back

Marisa was 3 days early and then Elijah was 7 or 9 days I think.

    Both were spontaneous labours.

Studies have shown first pregnancies have a longer gestation, on average 40w8d, and second are less than that, but with the induction rate in this country, the average gestation is 39 weeks.

unfortunately i didnt go early with my first 2, ( preg with 3rd)
i went into labour the day that my 1st was due. and had her late the next.
my second was induced on his due date, and due to drop in heart rate from cord around neck his was born on his due date,

with this one number 3 im currently preg with , she has tried to come 3 times already
strong premature labour at 29 weeks , 4 night stay in hospital and nefidepine.
then again at 33, and then the other day at 35.. only 2 more weeks and they will let me go yay!.

every baby is different, and it depend on your body as well, mine didnt get a very long break at all this time, although the trouble she is an excellent suprise

only 5 weeks at the most to go !!
