How long after losing your plug was bub born?

Hi ladies, hope your all doing well.

I am currently 40w3d pregnant with bub #3 and have lost some of my plug over the past few days ...as yet nothing has happened just wondering how long after you lost your plug did your little one arrive?

    Thanks in advance

With both my DS's, I lost my plug in early labour. With DD she was born 15 minutes later!

Not long to go now, good luck

I started losing my plug on a Saturday morning - Just the mucousy stuff, not the big "blob" some people have described, mine came away slowly, my waters broke the following Friday morning and DS was born 24 hours later! So a week! I hope that's not the case for you though!

How Exciting!! Wishing you an AMAZING Birth! Good Luck! xx

With baby 1, I lost it just over 24hrs before he was born and didn't lose my plug with the next two till labour was well established and then with baby 4 I lost it over a few days at 37/38 weeks and I went 40+4 so it is really hard to guess, but usually within a week of losing it is average.

With DD2 I had her about 2 weeks after losing my plug. Can't remember with DD1. Hopefully that's not the case for you though.

I'm pretty sure you're ok to have sex once you've lost your plug, because bubs is still protected in the sac, but no sex after your waters break I would think??
