How true was it for you???

Hi Girls,

I've been getting a bit of heartburn in the last week or so and everyone keeps telling me it means I am going to have a baby with lots of hair. I was just wondering for those of you who experienced heartburn in pregnancy, who did have a baby with lots of hair?

ive had hhhhhhhhhhorrible heartburn! ill let u know.. but i kinda doubt it.. seeming im blonde ill prob have a baldy! i would say its got more to do with bub squashing everything (eg ur stomach) and pushing the acid up!

My boys all had lots of black hair and I never had heartburn. I am getting reflux with this PG but it doesn't burn, they are more like spewy burps all the time.

I had pretty bad heart burn and ended up with a baldy baby.

Not true. I had really bad heart burn late in my 2nd trimester and all through my 3rd and my bub had normal to small amount of hair.

I had a small amount of heartburn last pregnancy and had a monkey! Sucha hairy bubba! This time I have had more heartburn so I have to wait and see if this one is hairier (if that's possible)...

I had it really bad with my first and my last, but only my first had loads of hair (I mean really thick, black and long) and my last had the least amount of hair of all my babies. Coincidentally though, they were both boys.

i had heart burn the whole way thru, nothing major, just really alot of burps, and Aiden was born with a decent head of hair.

I had it bad both times, and both girls didn't have any hair when born.

When I was preg with my DS I had no heartburn at all and he was born as bald as a badger. With my daughter I had the worst heartburn ever and she had masses of thick hair and now had a full head of curls whilst my DS still has fine straight hair.

Was totally true for me!

I had no heartburn what so ever with DD and she had heaps of hair, with DS I had HEAPS of heartburn and he had a full head aswell. With this one I go through stages of bad heartburn and then none, so who knows. Genetically I think they will have hair, but who knows.

I had absolutely NO heartburn during my pregnancy ... Yet my daughter was born with the biggest mop of dark hair - even one of the (male) midwives that was present at the birth came to visit me the next day purely to see 'the baby with a ton of hair' again ... and he had been doing midwifery for over two decades

To think I myself as a baby had no hair until I was 18mths old and then it was fine & like a silver blonde

DD got her Daddy's hair ... he had heaps of dark hair when he was born

I had lots of heartburn pretty much from day 1.

Bubs was born with a full head of fair hair but it fell out along with his cradle cap.

Not true for me at all. My heartburn was so bad I couldn't lay down flat I had to sleep with my head up, or else drink as much Mylanta as allowed!! And Jazz came out with a teeny tiny little bit of hair but when they saw her head when I was pushing they thought she was bald.

I had terrible heart burn in the final 6 weeks of my pg with Tiera and I can tell you Tiera didnt have very much hair at all! lol
I was told by some ppl she would have a lot of hair or have a baby with Red hair... and got neither!
