i'd go the nipple stimulation - that got my labour started im pretty sure oh and the squats and the pelvic tilts in the driveway (which i didnt realise the neighbours were watching )

Well, Im still pregnant lol (that was a sarcastic laugh by the way...)

I got the breast pump out but couldnt find any bottles so the colostrum I got out soaked into a towel and went to waste I was actually surprised at the amount that came out, deffinately going to make a good cow

I tried accupressure last night. There are points in your hands between your thumb and finger and as I was massaging thoses areas I actually got some tightenings! I didnt actually think it would work!

I went for a walk last night too. I walked down the end of my road and then back up the hill - just about killed me! Everyone I walked past gave me an understanding smile like they remember doing exactly the same thing.

I am going to resign myself to the fact that I am getting induced Friday morning and will have the baby then - if s/he decides to come sooner - BONUS!

Hi Ubba - I hear your frustration! I had mine on Monday and still here! Still getting some very light bleeding and some tightenings but nothing else. As a first timer, I can't tell what's from the procedure and what's the beginnings of the labour. I did get excited when I had to go to the loo 3 times for number 2's yesterday ha ha (sorry TMI). Grrr.....I think I could go till early next week and then I'll be over waiting. ha ha.

Ubba- I remember being in your position. I had a S& S and was 1 cm dilated before that and I think 50% effaced. I had that done at 40wks. It didnt work and I tried everything else. I didnt want to be induced so pushed it out until 42weeks instead of 10 days over and DD came naturally when I was 13 days overdue. It was the longest 2 weeks of my life and everyone else was having babies around me! She must have just wanted to pick her own birthday.

Hope your precious bundle comes soon. It wont be long no matter what. cant wait to read your BA

Hello, thought I would drop in with me two bobs worth I had stretch and sweep Monday, DD2 arrived Thursday morning.
I did MANY things, there is also an acupressure point on you ankle (pedicure maybe ) Try a long hot soak in the tub, worked for me.
Good luck
