Sounds like your doctor is one of the good ones that would prefer to let nature take it's course. I think in this instance listen to your doctor.

I agree with Diamond Girl here, try to wait it out. I too was impatient (no medical issues though), so I understand what you are going through! Best of luck, I hope the accupuncture helps speed things along.
