I've probably just scared myself silly googling for no reason...but I just had to get up cause bubs has been moving practically non-stop for a while now...OH has been lying in bed giggling at the kicks...they were quite strong kicks and very frequent, almost frantic I guess, and they were going on for about 10 minutes or so. Normally I wouldn't be worried, any movement is good, but it's 3 in the morning, and it just seemed to be so constant for a long period. Is this normal, am I worrying over nothing?? A few items in google said it could indicate a problem with the cord, like it being wrapped around her neck or something which has me really worried...she's still moving around now but has settled down a bit.

OH's cousin recently lost his baby at full term, they said the night before she had gone in to the hospital for a c/s the baby was moving around like a little footballer...then the next morning it had gone...at the time OH thought maybe the movement was an indication of distress, and right now I can't get that out of my mind

Am I just being overly paranoid?? Have an appointment with the midwife on Thursday so will ask them then, or tomorrow night at our first antenatal class...but thought I would see if anyone has any thoughts...I knew I shouldn't have googled!!
