I didn't really want to post such a frivolous thread with all that is going on... so I'm sorry if anyone thinks its disrespectful

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as having too many BH's? I've been having a LOT lately, sometimes they are accompanied by cramps, sometimes they aren't. Yesterday I had a really sharp burning pain at the top of my bump so I sent my midwife a text and she got me to come in and took my blood pressure (which was fine) and then checked me for swelling (none to report) and the pain had gone by then. She said she thinks its most likely that the baby's head is pressing on some nerves and that is where the pain is coming from.

Then we got talking about BH's and how many I'm getting - I told her that I usually get a lot when I'm driving (or just sitting down) and that I can get as many as 4 in the time it takes me to drive from my house to town (so around 4 in 20 minutes).

Yesterday I had a lot of them too, seemed to be every 20 minutes or something I was getting another one. Is that too many or normal for this stage of pregnancy (nearly 32 weeks)? I don't remember getting that many last pregnancy thats all.

Thanks in advance for any replies.
