you poor thing, you're doing it tough at the moment. Hope the pain subsides soon for you.
About a week ago i started getting really sore under my right breast, noticing it when i had been sitting position too long.
i work 3 x 6hr shifts on reception a week and primarily sit down.
i work for a chiro, so added advantage to get treatments, seen him last friday and my ribs are inflamed.
OMG getting so sore, also now feeling it in my back at the same spot....
its not bub up there yet but more so my insides getting pushed up.
anyone else get/got this??
did you have anything that releived the pain?
i dont remember getting this my last 2 pregnancies.
i can only imagine it getting worse over the coming weeks and soon it will also will be baby.

I've had it in my right ribs especially at the end of the day. I found removing my bra (even with a soft cup/maternity bra) really helped as any pressure there at all made it feel worse.
the first thing i do most afternoons is take my bra off lol!
(then my boobs go leaking all over my top.....)
im doing pilates tonight at my work so im gonna ask the ex physiologist for any tips that could maybe help.... otherwise i think its one of those things i have to put up with and isnt gonna go away until bub is out!
I get that all the time and I'm not even UTD :s![]()
I had it so bad with my dd. It's horrible, I feel for you!
=O maybe this is what I have!!
from about a month ago, I had what I called my "bubble", what it was, was felt exactly like a bubble up under my right breast, under my 2nd bottom rib, and it was numb, no pain, completely numb, but felt like a bubble I wanted to move out of the way. then when i pushed on it it felt like a bruise... would be there all the time, no matter what i did, bra/no bra, sitting/standing. I knew it wasn't Spock because Spock is no where near that high up yet, but still thought maybe Spock was pushing on something to make it like that..
well in the last week my bubble has now become painful, no longer numb, but sore =(, Spock still isn't have high up yet, but it is so uncomfortable and sore!
did you work out any tricks??
I had that with DS1. Turns out it was because he was breech and his head was up near my ribs. My ribs kept rolling out. The osteo would help them back in and then they'd roll out again. It went away when he was born. It was bloody agony.
I think this is me!
I had back pain from 18 weeks that has now spread into my ribs and it isn't bubs as, like you've mentioned they're not quite up there yet (although getting close). I have noticed that bubs likes to lie more on my right side but not sure if that would have such a huge impact. I found, and it could've been a coincidence that after I got properly fitted maternity bras it seemed to ease off a bit but by the end of the day it is painful/uncomfortable.
I've found some specific stretches that open up my right rib cage which help too.
How are you going now ladies?
I've got the same! Tried everything - removing bra (Ahhhh!) , warm bath, panadeine.. Tried the cat/cow yoga pose yesterday and it was bliss! Nothing else has helped this much. I feel for you![]()
It's still here and nit getting better or going away until bub has made his exit.
I went to a friends place for most of today therefore did a lot of sitting and omg paying for it now, it's sooooo sore.
I've had massages, chiro, heat pack and honestly nothing gets rid of it. The best releif is laying down flat, but that in turn switches n my reflux so it's a matter of which can I take more, the burning reflux or the aching rib.... Chiro told me to do lots of stretches which re wives it a little whilst doing it, when u lay n your ba k, bend your legs to one side, arms out and look to the other
If it wasn't for the robs I would prob be still traveling ok but OMG I'm over this pain![]()
