From "Innie" to "Outie" - inevitable?

    Morning ladies and Alan.
Question of the week = sorry its really a question of vanity lol.
My bellybutton is an innie. I quite like it. It's served me well.
I have noticed an increasing pressure on it. Its depth is decreasing by the week.
Is it inevitable that it will pop out? If so - will it go back in when the little guy enters the world?
    Cheers Belinda.

Belinda, I am pretty sure that it will go back to being an innie once your body goes back to normal!! I am sure that my sis's popped out and now its normal like it was. I am waiting for the moment mine pops out, its still got a little bit to go!

I get huge when pregnant and I was so worried about my bellybutton popping out. It never did. The hollow bit decreased heaps too,,

I have heard they go back to normal afterwards though

it does go back to normal, mine didn't pop out with Jackson, but it is starting to pop out only now @ 38 weeks with Leo, guess I don't have to worry too much seeing as he will be out on Tuesday!!!

I never wanted mine to pop out either!!

I'm 38 weeks pregnant and never got an outie. My belly button was really deep to begin with so I don't think it stood much of a chance, but it did get smaller.

Mine went flat for the first two. For my third it started to pop a bit but nothing like I've seen on others.
I don't think it's what it used to be but I'm happy enough with it

Mine's just going flat, I'm hoping to make it all the way through without it popping out!

Nope not inevitable - mine never popped out although it did get shallower.

Agree, not inevitable. Mine never popped and I was HUGE at 9 months!!!
Goes back to normal afterwards, may be a little more smilier depending on how good your stomach muscles are.

Mine was a flattie/innie at the end and lovely and deep in my tum again now. DS's started out as an outie and is now starting to be an innie, so don't worry too much about what Bub will have for a few months!

Mine never popped either, just got shallower. Afterwards it looked a bit different but I think it was the lack of tone in my tummy more than anything else!

I don't think it will pop with this one either.

Mine never popped either, just became shallower, and it definitely has gone back to normal now.

I will follow suit and say mine never popped either. Mind you it looks the happiest it ever has....and its definitely no where near as deep. Both previous pregnancies they go back to the same as they were prior.

    You'll be fine.
