I am 36 weeks and feeling some very intense pressure "down there!" I never had any pre-labour pains or symptoms except for some slight mucus loss about 3 days before birth of DD so not sure what this means.
It feels like I need to go to the toilet but I actually don't. I am also having more mucus lost than normal (sorry TMI!). I know this can happen for weeks before birth but wondering what you thought? My tummy feels quite tight but other than that I feel fine.
Hi JordieC,
Being 36 weeks pregnant, you will be feeling more pressure, and even more so because you have already had a child before. Your muscles, joints and ligaments have already been stretched before so are a bit weaker this time around.
As for the feeling like you need to go to the toilet, I guess bubs is engaged - very engaged. I dont think it will be very long for you, heres hoping!
Sounds like bubs is heading in the right direction, may be begining to engage. With DS I swear it almost felt like he could fall out there was that much pressure. A bowling ball between your legs describes it best.
I really don't think it was my mucus plug - just more than normal but not that much IYKWIM! The pressure has settled a bit so I'm just assuming bubs is getting ready! Though I did read some posts in other threads that say this could go on for AGEs. I hope not! But I don't want the baby to be born this week - mum and dad are in NZ and they would spew if they missed this birth because they were in Europe for DD's! But other than that I am ready!
