Not too sure just keep an eye on anything strange!! Make sure you can still feel the baby move and if you are worried give your hospital a call they will tell you what you should do, if you should come in or not!! I feel down 4 stairs when i was heavily pregnant and everything was fine :-)
    Take care

I wouldn't worry too much. You fell on your bum, not your tummy and don't forget babies have their own crumple zones as the amniotic fluid hleps to disperse and cushion any impact, not too mention your layers of muscle and organs! Keep an eye out for anything unusual and do some kick counts but i would say the only thing that was damaged was your bum (and your ego

It's scary to fall when pregnant isn't it

When I was 36 weeks pregnant with DD, I slipped & fell straight onto my belly onto bumpy rocky ground in my backyard. I panicked & went to the hospital straight away. Basically what I was told was that the concern isn't to the baby at all but the placenta being damaged or coming away. I was monitored for movement etc with the CTG & told to come back if there was any bleeding as there might be placental issues. So what I'm getting at here is just make sure bubby is still moving as usual & if you have any bleeding or unusual leaking call your hospital.

get some rest & try no to stress too much.

    Hi Shell
There is nothing to worry about. Your baby is very well protected in there. It would need a much harder bump that falling from an ottaman would cause to harm your baby

You'll be fine Shell!! Think of all that extra butt padding you've grown during the pregnancy, bub wouldn't have felt a thing!!!

[ps thanks for starting threads in the Third Trimester section, it's keeping me entertained at the moment!]

Ha ha, the only places I've stored the extra weight during the preg is my bump... and a secret layer of butt padding!!
