I was sitting on the toilet last night as u do and i happened to look down at my breasts and noticed my nipples looked wet. i squeezed them a little and this clear liquid came out. To my understanding this is colostrum. Anyhoo.. i was just wondering is it too early for them to be leaking? they have me a little worried. Has anyone els had them leak this early?
I had small amounts of colostrum leking from about 20 weeks with my DD, but not at all with my DS. Some people leak early, some not at all. It's all normal hun
All normal. Perhaps time to try out breastpads if it increases?
Mine are not leaking exactly but this time around I've felt a let down sensation and later discovered that the centre of my nipples has a white substance that is dry and crumbly. I've squeezed to see if anything comes out and a few tiny shiny beads will show. So, my colostrum is in too but not as flowing as yours. At least you know your supplies should be good when bub arrives, with my firstborn it took a while to come on.
Yep i had the same thing at about 28 weeks too. I woke up in the middle of the night thinking i had dribbled on my arm. I turned on the lamp looked down noticed my nipple looked wet so i gave a little squeeze and colostrum came out i screamed in shock. Knowing it was going to happen soon but still very shocked to see it happen for the first time, my husband thought their was a intruder the way i carried on. But first pregnancy it was still weird but very normal.
I had it bout 27-28wks preg with Alyssa, i would wake up and my top would be either wet or hard cause it had leaked and dried up. Ewww. Thankfully i havent got it yet. But its normal.
