I found them all pretty gross... Have you tried pigeon?
Hi all
I'm in the process of packing my bag for hospital and I need to get myself some breast pads. I like the idea of washable but quite honestly it's just not practical for our situation (won't go into that right now). I have been leaking for quite a while now and occasionally will need use breast pads for a day but I find them horribly itchy and I walk around fighting the urge to scratch my boobs constantly! (Good look huh? lol). The ones I have at the moment are the Johnsons Ultraform Nursing Pads.
Obviously its going to be a bit of trial and error to find what works for me but any suggestions of what others have found good would be useful!
Thanks everyone!![]()

I found them all itchythe advice I got on the cloth ones was to wash them in the shower, easy

Yeah I was going to suggest Pigeon one's too. I remember using a sample pack I had they seemed good.
I prefer cloth one's, easy to wash!!
I think I've tried them allbut I now regularly get the Rite Aid or the Coles Brand ones which are suprisingly soft......
As much as I'm not keen on the company, I find the j&j ones the most comfortable - I get them in woolies.
Thanks ladies! Like I said, the cloth ones aren't an option for us even though I would prefer it (I don't really want to go into it if that's okay). Can I ask - What's Pigeon?
Pidgeon brand here as well - they didn't itch me either (which, tbh, I did experience with some clothies in the early weeks). I bought mine from Coles near the nappies.
I have bad allergy to latex. I wonder if pigeon ones be good for me.
I used Rite Aid and Pigeon, both were very good.
Another Rite Aid and Pigeon user here![]()
I am currently using rite aid also.. i dont find them itchy at all![]()
I used Rite Aid and really liked them.
Thank you ladies! Sounds like I need to get myself a box of Rite Aid and a box of Pigeons and have a bit of a try!![]()
Yep I'm Pigeon too. There are two pigeon types - I like the ones that are a bit thicker (= more absorbent and comfy to me!) with two adhesive spots, but they are a bit harder to find. I buy then from Chemist Warehouse.
But the standard Pigeon ones at Coles/Woolies are good too.
