Long and strong BH. Normal at 30 weeks?

The last few days my Braxton hicks contrax really seem to have ramped up. My tummy goes rock hard for a minute or 2 at a time and they're so intense they kinda take my breath away. I remember having them with DD by this stage but I don't remember them being this full-on and I'm a touch paranoid since she decided to make her entrance at 35 weeks.

    Tell me it's 'normal'? Right?!

I've had pretty strong BH from week 24 in my last pg, but they only became stronger after the 30th week. They weren't that bad that they took my breath away but tummy did go rock hard for up to a minute several times a day, just really uncomfortable and annoying. GL hun, hope they don't get any worse and your bub hangs on for another few weeks yet. FX!

I had the same kind of BH from 20weeks, they were awful, right up until i had her at 40weeks...

But I will put in a disclaimer here and tell you that if at any time you are worried or there are any other S+S please see a health care professional....

I had them like that with DS1 from early on and he didn't come til 41+6 after I was induced. This time I'm only getting them mildly and usually if I've been doing lots of bending from cleaning etc. But like Mummenurse said, if you're worried it's worth speaking with a midwife etc. Hope your bub stays in for a lot longer yet!

I think I experienced braxton hicks awhile ago. My tummy gets hard but it's not very painful, just mild. I think it is normal.
