Hi, back at home. No baby yet. I had a swab which showd negative to amniotic fluid. Was in hospital for 2 hrs on the monitor and was contraxtion every 10 mins or so. So they did an VE and I was 2cm dialated. Sent home with pain relief. Told to call if pain increases as they are very busy and I may get sent to another hospital. HUH!

How frustrating! Yes did they tell you what the fluid was? Was it wee?

I have that fear that i will show up and they will say go home... what a bummer... but hey 2cm is a start!

Means bub may not be too far away then.

I have the same situation where there is a very high possibility that i will be sent to another hospital . Cause i live in a rural area we have 1 little hopsital (27 beds in the whole hospital) and if you are first time mum they often send you to the big city (300km round trip away) if they dont have a surgeon on call!

BUt it will be a matter and waiting until you are in labour to see who is rostered that day... so i am still not sure where i will be giving birth!
