when i lay on my back i feel it more, its not a constant pain but is there & its uncomfortable.

Yup me too - sort of period-like cramps in my lower back. I haven't noticed them being associated with a tightening of the belly which would mean that its part of BH but the midwife I saw last week at the Birth Centre seemed to reckon it was a good sign that things were getting ready for D-day. Mine are very mild so not bothering me but if you're feeling very uncomfortable it would be worth checking out.....for peace of mind at least
