hmmm... this maybe too much info, but I am interested to know if anyone has/had this.

I am on 'plug/show patrol' lol
so everytime i go to the loo I am looking for something exciting to happen.
anys over the last few weeks, I have lost blobs of plug, i think. Yellow and crossed between boogers and phlegm. yummo!!!
anyway, I have had a major increase in this loss since yesterday, and also, I ma noticing that most times when I wipe, I am also having a fair bit of shiny clear discharge. I have to wipe 3-4 times before its all gone.

I am not getting excited. nothing will happen. But I was just wondering if anyone else was having this. is it just normal discharge? or is it pluggy stuff?

also, when u have a show, is it ALWAYS blood tinged??? and does it always come out in one big glob or can it come out in parts?

Lol @ being on patrol!! So was I... but I didn't get anything like that before I went into labour... so no yeehaaar...lol.

I think though that what you are describing is definitely your plug. Most people lose it over time not in one hit. Getting close now hun!!!

ozziehoffy & debbie : oooo....it never crossed my mind that it could be that way as it is/was for squishee!! i had the impression that it would be like blobs of blood tinged discharge or something. this is indeed an eye opener for me!!

I have had the same thing Nicky... mine has been going on for weeks! The other day it got really bad though (ick!). Hopefully it means we are getting somewhere because I sure want to be a July mummy as I am sure you do too!!!

i never had my show...well, actually i did, but, was already pushing, so, never seen it. But, from reading other threads before Aidens birth, it seems its one of those things that is different for everyone.
And like mistyeiz says, dont worry about the whole TMI think, its one of the great things about this site, we all share what we have gone thru, and we have (or will have) experience these things..

It's funny, I don't remember all that well, but I didn't lose all of mine in one go, and I don't think it was blood tinged.

Hun I had this for about 3 weeks before I actually went into labour, but when my plug came away right at the beginning of my contractions, it was definately blood tinged.

It sounds like your plug to me. The shiny clear discharge is also normal and can be quite excessive for some women.
