Meaning of acronyms on hospital card.

I had an internal exam today and was wondering if anyone could tell me what this means:

PP -3, post

post would be posterior ithink, meaning your cervix would still need to move forward the PP-3 might be how engaged bub is

The -3 is to do with how engaged. This would be considered 3/5 engaged. PP i can't remember off the top of my head how it applies... Ill have to look through my notes
Umm and I think skybie is correct about posterior cervix.

P.P. is 'presenting part'. The part that is closest to your cervix in the later stages of pregnancy, usually head. -3 is 3/5th engaged like Dragoncookie said and I think Skybie is correct in post. meaning posterier.
