I felt like that with Ava-Jayde, Ren. It is highly uncomfortable. I never actually asked what it was but like you I just assumed that it was her head. Not long to go now hey! Very exciting
I've noticed the last couple of days when I sit down at a certain angle, i can almost feel as if i'm sitting right on bub's head!!! Like i can feel bub's head in my pelvis when i'm sitting on the edge of the bed in a certain position.....Is that what I'm feeling??
Does that mean my baby has engaged a fair bit by now for me to be able to feel that??? It's the weirdest feeling.....oh and of course when I'm walking around the shops or anywhere after a while it feels like so much weight really low on my vagina LOL
I know there is not long to go now and was told bub is engaged 2/5 down with 3/5 to go....
bit exciting.....

Don't squish the baby!Just kidding, I'm sure that you can't actually squish your little one (even though I already get paranoid that I'm squashing my baby when I lay on my side leaning towards my belly, lol). It definitely sounds like bubs has come down further for you and that it's well on its way to greeting you! I am so excited for you Ren and can't wait to see your bubs birth announcement!!!
i SO know that feeling! 'cept it happens to me when im trying to get in/out of a car...i'd guessume that it means bubs is taking a dive! i still think you'll pop before me!
do you get that "crunch" feeling if you lean over and bubs had some appendange under your ribs too?
ooohhh - your so close!![]()
I had that very heavy pressure down on my vagina when I was close to the end of the pg.
I remember having the urge to squat to relieve the pressure - I'm not quite sure how that made me feel better but it did! I honestly think your body is stretching the muscles around the vagina preparing for labour (I always explained it to DH as an odd "stretchy" feeling). My labour was very quick and I only had minor tearing - hopefully this will mean the same for you!
Good Luck and happy hatching!![]()
Oh yes, I remember that feeling well. Not too much longer to go now!
Yep I got that heaps with Julian, I think two days before I had him he was 1/5 and it was horrible to sit/stand, the only thing that gave some relief was laying down, but turn over I could still feel his head wedged down there.
Not long now, goodluck and labour vibes.
hugs xoxo
Ooh, sounds like you're definitely close Renstar!![]()
I get the same feeling already but its more prevalent when im walking up hills...my legs get wider apart each step to relieve some pressure...lol
I had that feeling from 28 weeks and it only got worse, you are lucky you are at the very tail end of your pregnancy so not long to go now!Tiera was 3/5 engaged from 28 and had her hands in my groin most of the time too! lol
I wish you all the best with the birth of your little creation![]()
Thank you Pish!!![]()
I remember that.
Not long to go now Renstar!
Definately sounds like it Ren! I remember feeling a bit that way with my first, then even worse and earlier with my second and its just started for me this week with this bub. I feel your pain, its really uncomfy!
