    My skins gone dark?

Is it normal for your skin to look like you've been out and got a tan? Usually I'm really pale unless exposed to sunlight then I have really olive skin but I haven't been out in the sun seems overnight my skin has gone very brown and I have a light brown strip you can barely notice from just under my sternum to the top of my belly button accompanied by two little stretchmarks grrr.

Is it normal to "tan over night"?

LOL your lucky to only have 2 stretchmarks!!! I have a map of Australia thanks to 2 kids and being large before hand!

As for the tanning... not ever heard of that before... im still as white as i was before i was pg with Chelsea!

My belly was quite brown.. noticed it more after the birth tho. Ended up with wrinkly brown skin LOL - looked awful! But it faded - in fact I found it scrubbed off after a while.. must have shed that layer of skin??

I exfoliate each day would it be dead skin? lol "what a nice tan you have" "yeah its dead skin do you like it?" hehe. My mum said the same thing happened to her just before she had me her skin went really dark all over. Very strange, oh well as long as its not skin cancer or somethin lol

My skin on my belly went dark, and it was really noticeable after Claire was born - it was like this wrinkly dark bit of skin but it didnt take that long to go back to normal. It has definately faded but I can still slightly see the dark line on mine.

A friend of mine was saying the other day actually, that she had skin on her face go pigmented and patchy.. just over her cheek bones! So perhaps it's a common thing to have the skin pigmentation do funky things.

My pigmentation went craaaazy when I was pg with Olivia but I didn't realise it was pregancy hormone related, LOL! (We were living in Darwin then....thought it was just a gorgeous tropical tan!)

Then when I got pg with Charlie, in my 3rd tri (in the middle of an Adelaide chilly winter and I was rugged up in sweaters and wooly socks!) the tan appeared again! LOL! D'oh, then I clicked it was a hormone thing.

With Lexie it wasn't as noticeable, but the patches on my face (luckily on my cheekbones, so it looks like I have slapped on some bronzer!) are still prominent.....a year after I gave birth...........

Hmm wonder if I'll be stuck with a perminant tan, I was content with my sickly pale look, Dad2b thinks the extra freckles looks cute >.<... so much for 2 stretchmarks as well, I didn't look on the underside of my belly where Dad2b pointed out there were more!! How considerate of him hey lol, least they are only pink they arent the red hot angry ones I had on my hips for most of my schooling life but still *sobs* I hate having things pointed out by other people lol
