Extra, extra mucous?

I know it's normal to have extra mucous during pregnancy... but I just had a big lot come out and I was wondering if this is a normal late pregnancy thing? i haven' had this much in one go before.

It wasn't the big handful or discoloured like I've read the show is so not getting too excited that way

I guess I just want to make sure I'm not losing amniotic fluid or something and being a clueless first timer just ignoring it...

Was it white? A surge in progestone is common late in pregnancy resulting in lots of white mucus

If it's more clear/stringy could be a show.

Yeah I think so- but I think all my mucous is white! Sounds like it's the progesterone surge. Thanks Kelly- it's amazing what happens to the pregnant body

Oh! Now there is pink on the panty liner I put on... I've never bled at all. The pressure on my pelvis is massive at the moment. Maybe bubba is engaging?

Well- I can confirm it turned into the show! I had another bug gush and rushed to the loo... panty liner soaked in pink and great big globby pink mucous came out. Wow!

I've upgraded to a pad

Baby Ren is here! I will let her post all the exciting news, she gets home tomorrow so maybe then or after. But babe was born today with the sunrise, beautifully in the birth centre with no drugs.... This Ren chick doesn't mess around
