Nesting... What you did and when?

So the whole nesting thing still miff's me and this is my third pregnancy... didn't hit with the first two... and this time my house is a pig sty but I think I'm nesting - OUTSIDE...

I can't stand the lawns being long so go out there and mow the lawns, the weeds in the garden are bugging me... I've water blasted the patio, weedeated (whipper snipper) the edge of the sand stones where the ground cover was over hanging, and I so wish I could climb on top of the large sand stone wall to pull the weeds from the top garden but I doubt I'd be able to get down... there is more that I want to do but not having the right tools and having my 3 year old at home is hindering me... can't do front yard as I don't trust him not to run down the road and those bushes in the front garden need an electric hedge trimmer to get under control... ARGH!

So has nesting kicked in for you? When did it happen? What have you done?

Firstly, I could not figure out what that censored word was! Finally got it

As for nesting, I have a spotless house lately, I clean it every morning before work. We had a valuation a few weeks ago and got it perfect, so now there's nothing left for me to do! I'm wondering if it'll get worse and I'll start doing bigger/more ridiculous things when I finish work

my nesting kicked in at about 34weeks, even if it had come earlier i couldnt do anything anyway was on bed rest, and i went crazy....

scrubbed the skirting boards, vacuumed the bathroom WALLS random but it HAD to be done in my eyes, pulled everything out of the kitchen cupboards and cleaned inside them and then rearranged them, cleaned the alundry ( coz u know the baby would notice if the laundry is clean ) and cleaned out the fridge and freezer......

wish i had a dose of nesting atm, got some other random things i need to clean but cant be bothered!

    Gotta love nesting

When I was pregnant with Moo I never got the cleanng bug, which I was relying on to get my house in order lol. Instead I was obsessed with cooking & stocking up my pantry. My pantry spilled out into our linen cupboard! I had all kind of canned goods, make up, cleaning supplies, cereals, snack food, bathroom supplies, toilet paper (omg I had so much it lasted us for over a year ), you name it & it was in there. I also bought a chest freezer & a vac sealer. I cooked all the time, sealed them up into serving sizes & filled up the freezer. I did a big meat shop & did the same with all of that. Also bought things like icecream, pies, frozen fish etc. AND I even blanched my own veggies to freeze the house stuck of brocolli for weeks! This started when I was about halfway through until I gave birth.

My nesting hit at 20 weeks. I cleaned EVERYTHING. I even cut open my little finger because i was trying to scrub under the fridge I was that bad that if DP moved anything slightly out of place i would scream like a banchee or cry my eyes out. One day while showering i was looking at the bathroom vanity and thought it looked 'dirty' so i stopped showering wrapped a towel around myself and cleaned the vanity inside and out. I took EVERYTHING out and cleaned it then arranged it in catergories...

I rearranged DD's room a thousand times, i put her clothes in groups and size orders. I even cleaned the garage and lifted heavy boxes and stacked them when i was 30 weeks. I vacuumed and mopped every day. i cleaned the windows, walls, skirting boards, every door and anything the baby would see i cleaned.

It didnt stop at just my house but at work i cleaned EVERY register, dusted and wiped down everything and got cranky if other staff members didnt clean. When i was at other peoples houses, mainly my mums and my MIL if it was slightly dirty i wanted to clean. I just had this very strong urge to clean everything.

Some days i wish i had it so i could clean my house, specially since i have an inspection soon
