You're best off using Lansinoh, which you can get from the chemist. Esp. if you are in the thrid trimester, you don't want to use anything else, or so my hospital's lactation consultant tells me. It does seem a bit expensive, but trust me, a little goes a long way, you only need a tiny amount. I bought a small tube months ago, and I'm just nearing the end now!
Avoid using soap anywhere near your nipples, and apply the Lansinoh 2-3 times a day, esp. after you shower. It can be used when BFing too
I sympathise, my nipples have been a bit dry and really itchy this whole pg! Not a good look to go around scratching your boobs!
