    No BH's yet?

Is it common not to have any BH's at 29 weeks? Or not to have any at all? I don't think I've had any yet - would I know if I've had them?

    What do they feel like?

Sometimes my belly tightens more then usual and then a few minutes later it will be fine - however this isn't painful at all. Is this a BH?

    Thanks!

I'm pretty sure thats what you call a bh. they're not supposed to be painful just a bit uncomfortable at times. I havent really had them a lot, and sometimes i've found it hard to distinguish between a bh and baby pushing against my belly making it all tight!

Most people have them, just some can't feel them at all.
Normally mine do feel like a tummy tightening, it sort of goes rock hard. Sometimes its uncomfortable, but it depends on what I'm doing at the time. For example - this morning when I pushed the trike up the road to the hairdressers, I had about 2-3, and they were uncomfy, but only cause I was trying to use my tummy muscles underneath to control Jenna on her bike.

I didn't get any at all with my first two children. I have read that lots of women don't get them in their first/second pregnancies, but do in later pregnancies. So not unusual!

Sounds like BH to me. To most people it's just uncomfy or not feel anything at all but to others(like me) they can hurt quite a bit. But both are normal.

Percy, sounds like them to me. They're not always painful, they're just like 'test run' contractions, so they're not very intese earlier on.

OMG DGirl, how did you get to 35 weeks so quickly!

Sounds like BH to me too. I have been getting them for a while now.. Sometimes they can be really strong other times they are only slight tightning sensations.

I never felt any BH's at all, right up until Aidyn was born!

I wasn't really sure if I was having them or not as it seemed like my belly was tighter at times but I didn't actually feel anything. It wasn't until I had to have a CTG and the midwives told me I was having heaps of large ones that I started to connect the slight sensations I had with them actually being BHs.

That sounds like BH to me. They can sometimes be uncomfortable, but I think thats more with subsequent pg's.
