    No braxton hicks....

    Hey guys,

The last time I had BH's was before 20 weeks - and I only had them a few times. Since then..... nothing.

Is it normal/ usual to not experience them? I don't even get the painless tummy tightening ones that some people describe.

    Anyone else?
    Thanks

Hi Sue, I never experienced bh at all. I didn't have any 'tightenings' either so I'm guessing it's completely normal! GL!

I have had two term pregnancies and not once felt a braxton hick. The first type of tightening I ever felt was when labour started with both my kids.

yeh i never had BH or any tightening of any kind.
The only symptom I had in third trimester (despite bub moving) was one morning I threw up a little bit. And good ol heartburn.

So far I have had one incident of very low down, very mild (like, really mild) period like cramps. Lasted an hour one day and I've had none since.

    That's it!!
Thanks for all your input guys!

    Hi Sue!

I didnt get any when pregnant with my first child but the second was a completely different story, i was having contractions from 34 weeks which were showing up on the monitor when i was in hospital each week for day stays due to high BP.
This pregnancy i am getting heaps of them, i had a few last week that i had to get out of bed for.

Goodluck not long now and you and I will both have our little bubbas

Well apparently I AM having BH's. I had an ob appointment today and he was measuring the fundal height and I was telling him that I'd had no BH's and he said "well what's that then" and I looked down and my tummy was ROCK HARD.

    I just can't feel them!

    YAY!
