So glad to see this post, as I too was only thinking about this same subject the other day as I too am not leaking.
Thanks for asking the question Tara
How coincidental I ran into this post today! I also was concerned that I was not leaking either, yet this very morning Fiance informed me I had a very wet round spot on my nipple. I turned bright RED and laughed. Yet, it was only one breast that leaked???
Girls please don't worry about non-leaking boobs. I breastfed both my boys without any problems and NEVER EVER leaked. That's right, not during pregnancy or even after they were born. Some women just don't, so please don't think it will have any bearing on your ability to breastfeed (I just like to think my body is very efficient and probably suited to living in the desert - I don't waste a drop )
I was just like RoryRory, I didn't leak during pregnancy or after DS was born. We BF without a problem for 18 months. I was using breastpads after he was born but didn't really know what they were for - I was using them to protect my bra from dribble when he was feeding lol. I had no idea that they could squirt out milk with no baby attached.
I am another non leaker. Never leaked with DD, not even when I was breast feeding and we fed successfully for 8 months. I am now 32 weeks pregnant and no leaking again..although can express the teeniest tiniest amount this time. I always used to think myself lucky that I didn't leak...didn't need extra mess lol!
