Not sure Ren - will let you know once we find out. My guess is that there may only be limited staff authorised to inspect so we might need to book an appointment if that is the case.

I'd get DH to go when you get it checked - with ours the ambo guy completely pulled it out and re-fitted it (but didn't charge a fitting fee) and it would have been good for DH to see what he did. I think it was at about 37 weeks for us, but if its just sitting around waiting and you don't need the seat in the car for anything else, why not just put it in now?

DS1 - I think it was around 37 weeks we had it fitted and with DS2 it was 39 weeks

I had mine done early, like about 32 weeks I think, but mostly because DP doesn't drive so it would have been almost impossible to get it done if bubs came early.

As it was he was 12 days post dates but I had a c/s and had to get special permission from my doctor to drive at three weeks post surgery, we were running out of groceries LOL.
